POTTSTOWN >> Students currently enrolled in the Pottstown School District have the opportunity to learn how to play tennis for free starting April 3.
Sponsored by a grant from the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation, free tennis clinics are being offered through the Greater Pottstown Tennis & Learning nonprofit organization. Participants also receive free racquet rentals.
Practice is held every Sunday for eight weeks, the last day being May 22. An adaptive clinic is available for special education students from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Students ages 3 and 4 will practice from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Students ages 5 to 10 will practice from 2 to 3 p.m. Students ages 11 to 17 will practice from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
These clinics will be offered outdoors at the Hill School tennis courts located at 861 Beech St. in Pottstown.
The deadline to register is March 27. Parents can register their children by emailing the child’s name, address, age, school and grade to email@example.com. Questions about this free service can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
