SCHUYLKILL RIVER PEDAL & PADDLE

When: May 14, June 30, July 23, Aug. 13 and Sept. 10

Where: Most start from Riverfront Park located at 140 College Drive in Pottstown

More Details: Most of the Pedal and Paddle events begin with a 4.5 mile bike ride from the park using cruisers from a bike share program. Participants take a guided tour of historical villages and homes in Berks County. The paddle portion is a kayak trip to return to Pottstown. DELCO BIKE TO WORK CELEBRATION

When: Starts 8:30 a.m. on May 20, rain date is May 26

Where: Delco Courthouse lawn located at 201 West Front St. in Media

More Details: The event is through the Delaware County Transportation Management Association. There will be free refreshments, raffle prizes, bike trail maps and more. SEPTA Bus will do a bike mounting demonstration. For more information, visit www.dctma.org/bike-to-work.

FRENCH CREEK IRON TOUR

When: Check-in opens 6:45 a.m. on June 12

Where: Kimberton Fire Company Fairgrounds located at 762 Pike Springs Road in Phoenixville

More Details: Participants will join more than 1,400 riders that are cycling for open space. There are rides for all levels on lightly travelled roads with a scenic countryside. For more information, visitwww.irontour.org or call 610-933-7734.

BIKE RODEO IN POTTSTOWN

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 18

Where: Lincoln Elementary School located at 461 N. York St.

More Details: This event is for the whole family. There will be a bike obstacle course, bike safety information with Pottstown police officers and more. For more information, visit sahpottstown.com or contact Mark Malizzi at 484-942-8709.

SHOO-FLY CLASSIC IN OLEY

When: registration opens 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 24

Where: Oley Fairgrounds located at 26 Jefferson St.
